Yes, you can absolutely register a company in the United States using your business address in India. You can also obtain an EIN for the business without providing a social security number.
We handle the formation of many international businesses, and typically, registering in Wyoming or Delaware is the best option, as they are the more business-friendly states in the United States.
As I mentioned earlier, you may use your business address in India as the business address for your U.S. company. All states require a Registered Agent listed on the company Articles with an address in that state, but we can provide you with this service for $99 a year, in any of the 50 states and DC.
If you need the business address to be a U.S. address, I would suggest looking into companies whom provide virtual offices. Then you could use that address for the business address on the application.
