Which is better for a company that will conduct business in foreign countries LLC or corporation?
Ron,
Let me put it this way – the fact that this company would operate abroad is of lesser importance for the choice of entity type than many other factors, such as U.S. status of owners, the nature of the business (in other words, what would that business do?), plans for the future (is this business going to attract large investments?), and many other factors.
It is generally recommended to discuss the choice of entity with a professional, tax or legal or both, who would be in better position to analyze various aspects of this business and suggest the most appropriate entity type.
