How do I get a bank account as non US resident?
Rob,
Banking is a topic we have spent an incredible amount of time researching in person with international banks throughout New York City and beyond.
To my understanding, banks require applicants to appear in person when applying for an account. Typically, you could bring the state documents for your business, the company EIN, and personal identification to a U.S. bank and have the account opened that day.
Obviously traveling to the U.S. is not an ability for everyone, so we put together a research article titled ‘U.S. Bank Account‘ which offers many tips and suggestions to help research the different options to consider.
(a) You made a typo in the card number, CCV code, expiration date, name or address;
(b) Your card balance is too low;
(c) Issuing bank has declined this transaction for some other reason related to your account.
