Can a person on disability form a LLC?

John,

I don’t see any reason why you wouldn’t be able to register an LLC with one of the states while on disability. However, as an LLC would generate personal income for you, I am not sure that wouldn’t cause any conflict with your benefits or personal finances. This is a question that you should definitely consult with a professional accountant.
